Here's your Evening Reading Routine Plan
Evening Routine — “End with Reflection”
1. Disconnect & Reset (5 minutes)
Turn off distractions (TV, phone, noise).
Sit in a calm space — light a candle or dim the lights.
2. Review the Day (10 minutes)
Ask yourself:
Did I act with discipline today?
Where did I slip? What can I improve tomorrow?
Write a quick reflection in your journal:
“One thing I did well today was…”
“One thing I will do better tomorrow is…”
3. Revisit the Lesson (5–10 minutes)
Skim a page or your morning notes from The Power of Discipline.
Reaffirm the main idea you’re working on this week (e.g., focus, consistency, delayed gratification).
4. Gratitude & Affirmation (5 minutes)
Write three things you’re grateful for — focus on effort, not outcome.
End your day with:
“I am proud of my consistency. Each day I grow stronger in discipline.”
