Here's Your Morning Routine Reading Plan
Morning Routine — “Start with Intention”
1. Wake Up with Purpose (5 minutes)
Rise at a consistent time — same hour daily.
Before checking your phone, repeat:
“I control how I think, act, and feel today.”
Drink a full glass of water to energize your body.
2. Read and Reflect (15–20 minutes)
Read 1 chapter or 10–15 pages of The Power of Discipline.
Highlight one key takeaway that speaks to you.
Ask yourself:
What habit or action can I apply right now?
Where in my life am I being inconsistent?
Example:
If the chapter is about self-control, set a small test for yourself that day (e.g., no social media until noon, no sugar after lunch).
3. Write in Your Journal (10 minutes)
Record the key lesson from your reading.
Write one statement of application, like:
“Today I will act with focus and delay gratification when it counts.”
Note your top 3 priorities for the day — align them with your goals.
4. Mind Discipline Practice (5–10 minutes)
Choose one of the following:
Visualization: Picture yourself completing your day with focus and confidence.
Affirmation: Repeat slowly — “I am disciplined, determined, and consistent.”
Meditation: 5 minutes of quiet breathing, focusing on your purpose.
Optional Add-On:
After journaling, engage in light exercise (stretching, walking, or short workout) to reinforce discipline physically. Check in The Fitness Program on page "Inspiration" for Guidance.
Weekly Integration
